AND function = ZK
OR function = OS
For an AND gate, all input signals must be active at the same time in order to execute a function. The AND gate ZK has two inputs X, Y and one output A. The output A is only pressurised if pressure is supplied to both inputs at the same time. If different pressures are present at the inputs, the lower pressure is fed to output A.
For an OR gate, at least one of all the input signals must be active in order to execute a function. The OR gate OS has two inputs X, Y and one output A. The output A is
pressurised if pressure is supplied to at least one of the two inputs. The valve automatically blocks the input which is not pressurised. If both inputs are simultaneously supplied with different pressures, the higher pressure is fed to output A.
